ブラックミュージックにジャズをブレンド、絶妙なシティポップがここに誕生！
90年代の音楽を存分に吸収したミュージシャンが世界同時進行で頭角を現し始めた。
イギリスはサウスロンドン、アメリカはウェストコーストゲットダウン一派のジャンルレスな音楽が耳の早いリスナーの間では既に話題になり、ベテラン、若手が入り交じり、新しい市場を形成している。
日本ではシティポップブームの中、ロックやAORをベースとしたバンドが今までインディーズシーンでは主流だったものが、ブラックミュージックフィーリングを纏ったバンドが目立ちはじめた状況の中で、名古屋発のAVOCADO BOYSはそのシーンの先陣を切るバンド。

1st Mini Albumは全世界で同時進行中の90年代オマージュ。2曲目に収録された“Angels”はスウェディッシュ・ポップの金字塔「カーディガンズ」の“カーニヴァル”を彷彿とさせる！

Musicians who have been influenced by 90’s music have started to emerge all over the world.
Borderless, genreless music from South London and Westcoast Ghetto town is already the hot topic amongst fast listeners and this new sound is being created by veterans and newbies.In Japan, city pop has become popular in the years but in the indie scene, most bands are influenced by rock or AOR. In recent days, bands influenced by hip hop and jazz have gradually emerged and Nagoya’s AVOCADO BOYS is the band to take the lead.

1st Mini Album is an homage to 90’s music currently booming all over the world.The 2nd song ‘Angles’ in the album is reminiscent to Swedish pop star Cardigans’ hit single Carnival！

ZIP FM「WAKEY WAKEY」をはじめ、多くの番組で楽曲がオンエアされ、ZIP-FMスペシャルジャズライブにも出演、その後名古屋のタワーレコードでは単独でCDの取り扱い開始。タワレコ×サウクル 連動企画ではウィークリーチャート3位にランキングされる要注目アーティスト！

Songs have been aired on many radio programs such as WAKEY WAKEY on ZIPFM. The band also performed at ZIPFM’s Special Jazz Live inSeptember. Since then, their CD has been available for purchase at Tower Records Nagoya. They are 3rd place on the must-check-out artist chart – a collaboration project of Tower Records and Sound Cruising.
